About the recipes
It's not as if the world really needs more recipes, but... You know how it happens. Someone eats at your house and says 'How did you make this?' Or Caffie takes some leftovers into work and people ask what's in it.
I'm not really the sort of person who usually cooks with a recipe written out in front of me. Maybe the first time I do something I follow the ingredients list quite faithfully and more or less stick to the quantities and cooking times. But mainly cooking is about judgement and taste and what you have to hand.
So all of these recipes are just attempts to write down what I do when I'm in the kitchen. With any luck they won't be too vague. Any comments or questions are welcome.
And as there's no such thing as an original recipe, I've tried to rack my brain as much as possible to remember where I got it from in the first place and acknowledge the source.
The first few are just things I've moved from the old website.
